Representatives of Vertolety Rossii OJSC Visit VEDA’s Production Facilities

On August 23, 2013, a delegation from the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant OJSC visited VEDA’s production facilities. The visit was initiated by VEDA Group of Companies and Vertolety Rossii OJSC to discuss the future prospects of cooperation.

Accompanied by managing director of the plant, the delegation visited the strain gauges production facilities, the test lab and the technical control department.

During the visit, the representatives of the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant OJSC had a chance to get a thorough understanding of all production processes, from the preparation of materials to lab tests. The delegates saw what kind of materials and tools are used to make a strain gauge.

During the visit, the parties discussed joint measures to prevent the purchasing of counterfeit products under the trademark of VEDA LLC.

“The companies of the Vertolety Rossii holding have been our strategic partners for over 40 years,” said managing director after the meeting. “We plan to supply more strain gauges, the key element in aircraft durability tests. It is our priority to ensure the full production cycle to bring to the market high-quality products for all areas of use, including aerospace.”
